secondly. i'm moving again! hallelujah! (any more awesome volunteers to help me again?) and i got a sweet new job. my DREAM job, actually--it's at utrecht. being surrounded by art and art accessories is equivalent to giving a pimp a free herd of 1,500 hot hoes. life is gold.
so i was privileged enough to breeze through the gateway mall a while ago, and started realizing a few things. mostly one thing, actually. everyone there was white. then i started watching the behavior of these people, (not that i'm not white too, hah.)and the nature of the products they were buying. it cracked me up. then i began to make other observations about white people, and the weird things they get sucked into. (i'd like to think i don't conform all that much... ;) ) here's what i came up with so far:
*build-a-bear.
*having jobs where they get to wear fancy wireless earpieces.(old navy, gap, abercrombie, etc.
*zuka juice with extra energy/wheat grass shots.
*GOING GREEN.
*vacationing in rome or paris.
*red wine.
*rei.
*how to best help africa.
*becoming vegans. (i could be totally in the dark on this one, but i have yet to meet a non-white vegan.)(please, prove me wrong.)
*shopping at target.
*irish pubs.
*80's music.
*banana republic.
so i realize the list is small, but i add to it when i observe really tacky, obvious things we tend to do. also, someone suggested this site to me a few days ago.i guess someone else noticed this phenomenon too and has had a lot of time to think about it! we even had some of the same things on our lists. i laughed so damn hard. what fantastic read.
last bit of news, i brought frida kahlo back from the dead.

later boners.
